This is the platform through which Tourplan NX users learn how to set up and use Tourplan. You can choose from a broad syllabus of topics, courses and sessions graded into entry, advanced, and administrator levels. In addition we offer onboarding packages and ad-hoc customised sessions.

Onboarding our term for starting a new client relationship, setting things up and training your staff how to use the system through to the point where you are live on Tourplan. It is a structured process tuned by our senior trainers to meet the specific needs of your business and your team.

An introduction to Tourplan

  • A discussion of how Tourplan integrates your business
  • We decide on some base system parameters to optimise Tourplan to best suit your style of operations and accounting requirements
  • We agree a “Live on Tourplan” date

Introduction to Training

  • Our Trainer(s), your system administrator and key staff meet online. Someone in your team will enter your first Tourplan booking
  • We plan the training schedule and introduce myTourplan

Phase 1

  • A series of two hour Tourplan University (TPU) courses based around setup, product, content loading and administration
  • Product data loading begins

Phase 2

  • Further TPU courses enabling full operational activities
  • Booking loading begins – forward and current bookings

Phase 3

  • Accounts training and financial setup and reporting
  • Advanced operational courses and optional features
  • Process your first accounting month end

Phase 4

  • Tidy up loose ends

Course Delivery Options

TRAINING COURSE DELIVERY OPTIONS


Courses are delivered in any of three ways:

Personalised Online Training

Personalised Online Training is the new standard in delivering real-time Tourplan training through courses structured into two hour sessions that can be scheduled at a time to suit you. Course sessions are tailored to your style of business and level of knowledge. Class sizes can range from 1 to 4 people. Costs range from US$50-100 per session.

On Demand

This option provides you with well-structured PDF documentation containing complete course content curated from across a range of our instructional material. You learn in your own environment, at your own pace, and without guidance. Well suited to self-motivated learners who already have a solid background in Tourplan. Costs range from US$10-US$30 per course.

On Site

Onsite training is extremely limited during Covid-19 restrictions. At other times onsite training at your premises is offered for between 2 and 5 days, in a range of formats to suit your needs. Generally best suited to larger businesses with classroom style facilities. Costs are around $US 1,500 per day plus travel and accommodation.

Personalised Online Training

  • Personalised Online Training is the new standard in delivering Tourplan training.

  • Each session is tailored to your style of business and level of knowledge.

  • Many sessions will include some homework or practise, and full course notes are provided for you to both browse in advance and reference post-training.
  • Costs range from US$50-100 per session.

On Demand

  • On Demand provides you with well-structured PDF documentation containing complete course content.
  • You learn in your own environment, at your own pace, and without guidance.
  • On Demand courses are well suited to self-motivated learners who already have a solid background in Tourplan.
  • On Demand courses and Personalised Online Training can be complementary paths.
  • Costs range from US$10-US$30 per course.

Booking and Payment Process

Booking and Payment process


Booking and Paying for courses

  • Courses can be booked online in either delivery mode.
  • If you purchase On Demand training, you will have access to a download link containing the course notes as soon as the transaction is approved. – Payments for On Demand training are collected immediately through the shopping cart.
  • If you select Personalised Online Training for a course, you will receive course notes from your trainer and there is no need to purchase On Demand training notes for the same course.
  • Payments for Personalised Online Training can be purchased using one of the following selections.
  • Credit Card – Credit Card payment is authorised through the shopping cart, payment is held and the transaction is finalised when the training is confirmed with you by your trainer.
  • Invoice – Allows you to request training and pay later.
  • Voucher – Vouchers can be used as payment for Personal Online Training and are issued by your local support office.
  • Contact Request – Provides training request correspondence to your local office to discuss your payment options.
  • On receiving your training request one of the training team will be in touch about dates and times for training within a day or two of you making a booking.
